Acai bowls are part of our weekly breakfast ideas because this tiny berry contains healthy fats and low amounts of sugar, as well as many trace minerals and plant compounds, including anthocyanins.
Acai berries are also incredibly rich in antioxidants, boasting three times the amount found in blueberries.
making it a healthy breakfast idea for your family.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Malk or Anita’s coconut yogurt
- 1 packet (100 grams) frozen acai berry packet
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- ½ cup strawberries or raspberries
Add to your VITAMIX or blender and blend until smooth!!!
Garnish your bowl with:
- Sliced fresh fruit: kiwis, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and banana (you can choose from your fav fruits)
- Homemade granola or Ezekiel Cereal
- 1 Tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp 100 % all-Natural shredded coconut
- 1 Tbsp goji berries
- 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
